Beef Week follow up sales:

The pen of 10 Buchan Black J heifers have been sold to locals; Rod Hoghton and Di Sharman based in Boolarra. They will be joined to terminal sires for their second calves. They are currently using Blonde bulls. Results of this type of joining can be seen on the Cross Breeding page.

All our Buchan Black J bulls are now sold. We still have some excellent Angus and Galloway - (stud & commercial) bulls and females for sale.

Amberley Park Beef Week 2015:

*** Beef Week was great, starting with the weather (cool) and a steady steam of visitors and some good bulls going to new homes. We had all of our cattle available for inspection so people where able to see dams / sires of bulls. Picture of Rod Turnbull inspecting the dam of the Buchan Black bull be purchased to follow up on the daughters sired by a Amberley Park Galloway bull. Apologizes for photo quality .. phone photo! Photos can be seen on Amberley Park Facebook page.

I really enjoyed discussing breeding programs and show off our cattle ... the sales were good also!
